The story of Nobby starts on a challenging note. He was born with a physical impairment – he had no front legs, which made it tough for him to feed from his mother. While his mother loved and accepted him, his siblings refused to let him eat. To make matters worse, the vet recommended putting him down when he was only four hours old, which was an incredibly painful decision.
Lou Robinson, a Texan resident famous for adopting and caring for stray dogs alongside her partner, Mark, decided to try something different this time. Despite the veterinarian’s recommendation to allow them to handle Nobby’s care, Lou and Mark chose to personally attend to him. As a result, they welcomed the homeless pup into their home and committed themselves to providing him with unwavering affection, care, and sustenance through bottle feeding.
At first, it appeared that Nobby was doing really well as his physical abilities started to emerge. Loui Robinson shared that Nobby’s eyes began to open, his ears were growing, and he even started to bark. He also developed the skill to detect different scents and identify distinct voices.
Out of nowhere, things took a turn for the worse. Nobby, just shy of his first month, began to sneeze uncontrollably. He also had trouble going to the bathroom and tiny bubbles were coming out of his nose.
After conducting an X-ray, it was found out that Nubby’s esophagus was causing complications. To treat this issue, Nobby was given antibiotics and kept in an incubator. The outlook initially seemed bleak, but to everyone’s amazement, Nobby displayed an exceptional level of grit and determination that made him stand out from the rest.
Despite facing numerous challenges, Nobby refused to give up and kept pushing through. His foster parents supported him every step of the way, ensuring that he had a chance at a fulfilling life. Over time, Nobby’s condition improved, and now, three years later, he has become a remarkable survivor.
Although there are still obstacles that Nobby must overcome, he serves as a great example to others that with determination, anything is achievable. The Robinsons have even created a Facebook page dedicated to sharing updates on Nobby’s journey so that others can be inspired by his story.
From the latest updates and snaps, it seems that Nobby is thriving beyond expectations. He has transformed into a tough pooch who relishes in having fun and discovering new adventures. Furthermore, he now possesses a custom wheelchair that grants him effortless mobility.
