Unfortunately, Woody didn’t always look like this – he was actually disfigured in an attack that he didn’t receive proper treatment for. When he was just 5 weeks old, another dog attacked him while he was out and about. Despite being under the care of his owner at the time, Woody was never taken to the vet to get checked out, and as a result, he’s looked like this ever since. However, despite his distinct appearance, Woody is still full of joy and love.
Depriving Woody of medical attention isn’t the only cruel act his owners have committed. They also abandoned him a few months later when they moved out of their Tennessee home. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could be capable of such heartlessness. Woody happens to be a kind-hearted bull with a truly golden heart.
It’s hard to believe that someone could abandon a family member after they were attacked without seeking medical attention for them. It’s important to remember that animals are living beings who experience pain and emotions like us. It’s unjust to harm them in any way. I think it’s best not to have pets if we can’t be responsible for their well-being.
The unfortunate man was abandoned by his captors and left tied up outside. However, kind-hearted neighbors stepped up to feed him for some time. Eventually, six weeks had passed before someone reached out to Courtney Bellew, who serves as the director of the SNARR organization that specializes in rescuing and rehabilitating animals with special needs.
This organization is responsible for handling cases involving special needs individuals, like the boy in this story. As soon as the director heard about the situation, she rushed to rescue him. Despite being around eight months old, he behaves more like an eight-week-old puppy. His playful and affectionate nature, coupled with his unique facial features and gestures, make him even more adorable, according to Courtney.
Naturally, some training is necessary for him since it appears that he was never treated as a house pet before. According to Courtney, “He jumps around and isn’t familiar with basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘stay.’ I don’t believe he was ever a cherished pet. I think he was more of a dog that was left to fend for himself, even when people still lived there.”
According to Courtney, in just five days of being cared for, her puppy’s personality underwent a positive change. The puppy turned out to be very sweet and happy to enjoy the new opportunity. Luckily, he responded well to the training activities and his behavior improved significantly. Now, he is not only happy but also well-trained. “You cannot resist falling in love with that face,” Courtney said.
Dogs have a unique way of helping us, even when we think we are the ones helping them. This particular Pit Bull, with a distinctive face and a sweet personality, was fortunate enough to find a loving family who adored him. His new mom, Jamie Bond, quickly realized that she had the most affectionate and protective puppy at home. A few days after Woody arrived at his new abode, Jamie fell ill, and the puppy proved to be faithful to her side. Jamie said, “He sensed something was wrong and never left me. He cuddled up with me on the couch all afternoon. Now he is my shadow, always following me wherever I go, ensuring that I am safe and sound. Woody loves to snuggle up in bed and rest his head on my chest.”
His uniquely curved face and golden-hearted personality have won over his family, making him the reason behind their constant smiles. Woody’s exceptional sweetness and unconditional love for those who gave him a chance prove that appearances should not be the basis for judgment. He sets an excellent example of how looking different doesn’t make one less cute.
